A senior official at Soros-funded Media Matters falsely accused Matt Drudge of publishing a bogus picture of Trayvon Martin, that turned out to be genuine, taken from his Twitter page. After the bogus nature of his accusation was forcefully impressed upon him, senior analyst MJ Rosenberg apologized – not to Drudge, but to readers and the Martin family. This churlish inability to directly address the target of his libel marks Rosenberg almost as seriously as his readiness to accuse first, research later. Fox News reports:
“Racist demagogue Drudge continues to run photo of some kid, not Trayvon for incitement purposes,” MJ Rosenberg initially tweeted at 10:56 a.m. ET, after drudgereport.com and other media sites posted a photo of Martin sporting a tank top, looking noticeably older and bigger than he appears in a photograph widely carried by media outlets that have reported on the story.
Rosenberg followed that posting by retweeting a message saying, “Matt Drudge has done more to debase American news coverage than anyone in history of country.”
But he was tweeting a different tune at 1:03 p.m., when he wrote, “Mixed up Drudge photo of Trayvon w Michelle Malkin’s. Malkin’s is an admitted fake. Drudge? Don’t know. Sorry.” That tweet was immediately followed by another saying, “Malkin apologized for fake #Trayvon photo. I apologize for mixing up her photo with one Drudge used.” (snip)

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is still among the walking clueless. He has yet to allow for a budget to be voted on which is required by law. It makes no difference as his boss Obama and their attorney general play fast and loose with the United States Constitution (if they pay it any mind at all.)
Harry Reid saw the elections as the voters wanting compromise. Has he completely lost his mind? Or for the sake of being kind, shall his remarks be attributed to his loathing of America? You see, Harry, the voters rejected the progressives and their policies in 2010. You would do well to get your party ready for a bigger thrashing on November 6th.
Remember your boss’s statement and the attitude he shows toward Republicans, “I won?” Did he, or was he put in place by those who hold the real power?
Not since the elections of 1946-48 has a political party been so soundly eviscerated.
Reid could not be any more in touch with the sentiment of the voters who decimated his party than he was during the town hall meetings when he and Democrats refused to listen to the voices of “We The People”
In fact, we were called un-American for expressing our opinions.
So let’s clear a few things up for you, Harry:
- The voters rejected the massive intrusion into their lives and increased costs of the health care law you passed using back room deals and bribes.
- The voters rejected Cap and Trade
- They also rejected the take over of banks, brokerage houses, and auto companies along with the above-mentioned hijacking of their health care system, representing 17% of the U.S. G.D.P.
- Plain and simple, the American voter rejected the model of Hugo Chavez who is nationalizing everything he possibly can.
- No Harry, the American voter rejects socialism, liberalism, progressivism, collectivism, or what ever you are calling yourselves in your twilight hours.
- Let’s not lose sight of the main cause of our housing meltdown and subsequent economic crash. While the talking points were all about “greedy Wall Street Bankers,” your party tried to hide from its duplicity in the Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac scandal.
Of course, your party was told that both agencies were at or near insolvency back in 2003 during investigations under George W. Bush. The result: the democrats’ lied, and thousands upon thousands of people lost their homes and life savings.
You remember good ole Barney from the House floor assuring members of Congress that there could not be a housing bubble, right?
Harry, the voter just wasn’t buying what you and your ethically challenged members of the House of Representatives were selling. Thus, there was the tsunami that swept them from Washington. In closing, wake up and smell the coffee; there will be no compromise. The 2012 elections can’t come soon enough for the voters you failed as leader of the Senate by not allowing the peoples’ business to be conducted.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it; I’m J.C., and I approve this message.

No tags for this post.A handful of Republican Arizona lawmakers are again trying to pass a law requiring presidential candidates to sign an affidavit swearing they meet the federal requirements for the job before they can get on the state’s ballot.
The efforts stem from question about President Barack Obama’s citizenship. Hawaiian officials have repeatedly confirmed Obama’s birth in their state but some continue to believe he was born in Kenya, his father’s homeland.
Rep. Carl Seel, R-Phoenix, added the affidavit requirement to House Bill 2480. It passed the Senate Government Reform Committee two weeks ago, but has since stalled. It still needs a vote of both the full House and Senate before going to the governor.
On Tuesday, Seel gathered Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and several other Republican lawmakers to ask the public to demand that Senate President Steve Pierce, R-Prescott, move the bill forward.

No tags for this post. It’s been over 1,000 days since Congress has passed a budget. Harry Reid and Senate Democrats tend to take the “assuming a ladder” position on our fiscal health; in doing so, they look insincere. Hopefully, Republicans can exploit their naked politicking to the ballot box come November.
The President released a budget last month that was full of budgetary gimmicks and tax increases. This is becoming something of a recurring trait with this administration. He trashed the Simpson-Bowles Commission’s recommendations, which lead to the debt ceiling fiasco and the creation of a political escape hatch that was the Super Committee (a classic example of political prevarication. ) This was a stark contrast to his 2009 promise to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. National Review stipulated that Obama’s real plan is to surreptitiously allow all the tax rates to rise for everyone and funnel the revenue back to Washington to benefit the Democratic Party, its operatives, and its left-wing allies. Big labor is quite hungry nowadays.
Despite the left’s incessant enthusiasm for a “balanced approach” towards balancing the budget, they still don’t seem to understand the basics of our fiscal crisis. They offer little to curb the entitlement spending, the area that will bankrupt us, and its mentality since spreading dependency is their sole agenda. They still push the idea of raising taxes and honoring our commitments to the recipients of the welfare state, which consists of over half of the American population.
Rep. Paul Ryan’s and his budget prove that Republicans, and only Republicans, are taking the reins of leadership and guiding our country away from the financial cliff. It spends $5 trillion less than the Obama budget over the next ten years. It turns Medicare into a premium support-based system that re-injects choice and personal responsibility that will reduce costs. It gets rid of the one-size fits all that has been the harbinger of waste and fraud that has infested the system. It closes loopholes to reduce rates on everyone, making those who usually would not pay taxes, the free lunch leeches, eligible to contribute something to the government.
However, the big enchilada is Medicare. The editors for the National Review put it succinctly:
Last year, he [Ryan] proposed that in the future, the government should defray the cost of whatever coverage plans senior citizens choose, with the amount of the subsidy varying by their age and health risks, and with total spending rising at the rate of inflation. If they choose more expensive plans, they will have to pay more. This year, the budget proposes that instead of rising at a predetermined rate, the size of the subsidy should depend on the results of a bidding process in which insurers in each of Medicare’s administrative regions compete to cover the minimum benefits package at the lowest price. In addition, under Ryan’s new proposal, one of the options seniors would be able to choose would be a traditional fee-for-service plan run by the government.
Choice, competition, and responsibility are being reintroduced and therefore allowing citizens to shop for a plan that meets their medical needs. The free market can curb rising costs if you allow it to work. Moreover, it provides a cornerstone to end “the war on responsibility” that is being peddled by the left in congress.
The budget is not perfect. It doesn’t address Social Security reform and remains conspicuously silent on the loopholes closed and deductions omitted to achieve the low tax rates. Namely, because if Congressman Ryan divulged what was sacrificed, burning effigies could be visible from space. Nevertheless, if offers a great first step in the conservative agenda to end this “war on responsibility,” curb dependency, and reassert the Madisonian vision of limited government that should make George Will weep in adoration.

“One thing is clear: The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens would pay nearly half of everything they earn to the government.”~Congressman Ron Paul, (R-TX)
In theory, Republicans want a smaller government, one that leaves more decisions to the people with less intrusion into their lives. Unfortunately, once elected, many old-guard Republican members of Congress fall victim to their own lust for power and perks. They begin acting like Democrats, advocating programs that pander to their constituents in exchange for their future votes.
With the 2010 elections, Americans sent a clear message, “enough of the old leadership.” Thus, a new breed of fiscal conservatism was brought to Washington to help begin restoring America’s future.
They have been constantly thwarted by the recalcitrant Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, who will not let Republican legislation, even bipartisan legislation be voted on in the Senate.
Harry Reid is an anachronism and still a true believer that raising taxes and continued spending is the answer. Thus, largely due to progressive programs in the name of so-called “social justice,” America’s economic future has been sold, with the likes of China propping up the continued charade.
Apparently, he is no student of history as he might have learned that no country in the history of the world has taxed itself into prosperity.
It’s time for the Obamas, Reids, Pelosis, and the entire progressive movement to be soundly defeated in the November elections.

The Illinois Democrat spoke out against racial profiling and, as he removed his suit coat and pulled the hood on the sweatshirt he was wearing underneath over his head, said that “just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum.”
Rush was interrupted by the presiding officer, Mississippi Republican Gregg Harper, who reminded him that the wearing of hats was not allowed and “members need to remove their hoods or leave the floor.”

No tags for this post. The bureaucracy and the fuel-economy standards are a bad joke destroying the economic underpinnings of America.
Lisa Jackson is nothing more than a Obama administration environmental hack.
On December 8, 2009, she said in a written statement that the finding, which declares carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases a threat to public health, marks the start of a U.S. campaign to tackle greenhouse gas emissions.
In doing so, she completely disregarded her own government’s findings.
Her decision has been the action she is best known for as EPA administrator. On this so-called “consensus” based upon political science, rather than actual science, the entire charade has been propagated.
As a result, she has forced numerous companies to leave the United Stated States and has forced auto manufacturers to make unsafe vehicles to comply with her fuel standards. It’s not just the Auto industry she has decimated; other businesses that emit carbon are forced to pay to play. In doing so, that price is passed on to the taxpayer resulting in few dollars available to buy goods and services all for the sake of a socialist delusion and a gigantic wealth transfer in the name of Social Justice.
All this is in spite of emails leaked showing the “scientists” who conducted many of the studies indicating their results were inaccurate. Never let fact-based science get in the way of a crisis! Greater analysis can be found here.
Man-induced climate change and the desire to fix that which isn’t broken is illustrated by China’s, India’s, and Russia’s refusal to participate in the agenda of Al Gore and his carbon-trading crooks.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.
